Weeks Offered
From fun idea to playable game, this camp makes coding feel magical and doable. Campers create their own mini-games, animations, and silly interactive stories using Scratch – the friendliest coding platform on the planet. They snap together colorful blocks like digital LEGOs to make characters jump, spin, talk, and react to every click, all while learning real programming concepts they’ll build on for years. From racing games to goofy story adventures, each day brings a brand-new project that proves kids can turn their wild ideas into actual, working code.
And when it’s time for a break from screens, campers dive into hands-on STEM and maker challenges that spark curiosity and get them thinking in all kinds of creative directions.
What Campers Will Do
Build mini-games, animations, and interactive stories by snapping together Scratch code blocks
Design original characters using Scratch’s sprite and sound tools
Debug their projects by spotting what went wild and fixing it themselves
Switch gears with hands-on STEM and maker challenges that encourage problem solving
Share and remix games during fun show-and-tell sessions
They’ll Leave With
A collection of Scratch games and animations they created themselves
The ability to translate ideas into simple, working code
The confidence to tackle “whoops” moments instead of giving up
Repeat-friendly: As campers level up, they tackle more advanced mini-games and stories, so repeat campers can continue building on what they already know.
