Weeks Offered
A perfect starting point for new FTC students or anyone curious about competition robotics.
In this hands-on intro camp, participants build and modify a real FTC-style robot, learn the basics of the REV robotics system, and program simple autonomous and driver-controlled actions. Campers explore drivetrain construction, attachments, sensors, and coding fundamentals, then put everything together on the practice field to see what their robot can actually do.
No experience needed — just curiosity, teamwork, and a willingness to try big ideas.
What Campers Will Do
Build and customize an FTC-style robot using REV components
Learn coding fundamentals with FTC Blocks and optional OnBot Java
Experiment with motors, sensors, and attachments
Test their robot on a mini challenge field
Practice teamwork, communication, and engineering notebooks (light intro)
They’ll Leave With
A strong foundation in FTC building and coding
Hands-on experience driving and testing an FTC robot
Confidence to join (or rejoin) an FTC team in the fall
