Embark on a festive 2-hour journey where youngsters craft a Techno-Turkey and mix up their very own harvest-themed goo. The Techno-Turkey Experience: Foster your child's innovation and tech-savviness with our memorable turkey project! Using servo motors, an Arduino Uno, and an ultrasonic sensor, participants will assemble a turkey that flaps its wings or wobbles its tail when sensing nearby movement. And it doesn't end there - kiddos are encouraged to garnish their turkeys with delightful Thanksgiving-themed decorations, explore the underlying principles of ultrasonic sensors and servo motors, and venture into coding the Arduino on their own. Harvest-Themed Goo Creation: Once the turkeys are up and wobbling, we transition to the fun-filled world of harvest goo! As the little ones delve into crafting their goo, they’ll uncover the fascinating science behind its consistency and playful nature, all while infusing it with autumnal colors reminiscent of falling leaves. Safety & Age Recommendations: This immersive workshop sees kids working with hot glue guns, scissors, electronic circuits, and delving into Arduino coding on laptops. With the tools and processes at play, we recommend this workshop for kids aged 8 and above. However, budding innovators who are a tad younger are certainly welcome as long as they are accompanied with a dedicated assistant.
