Assistant STEM Instructor

The Future Innovators Academy seeks an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant STEM Instructor to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for inspiring young minds, a background in STEM education, and a desire to make a difference in the lives of children, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Position: Assistant STEM Instructor

Employment Type: Full-time/Part-time

Responsibilities:

Assist the lead STEM Instructor in delivering engaging and hands-on STEM lessons in classrooms and camps.
Support students in coding projects, robotics challenges, and other STEM activities.
Collaborate with the lead counselor to create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
Provide one-on-one assistance to students who may need additional support or guidance.
Help with the setup and organization of STEM materials and equipment.
Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes teamwork and creativity.

Requirements:

Passion for STEM education and inspiring young learners.
Basic knowledge or aptitude for coding, robotics, and other STEM concepts.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude when working with children.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Prior experience working with children in an educational or camp setting is preferred.

Summer Camp STEM Counselor

The Future Innovators Academy is seeking energetic and passionate Summer Camp Counselors to join our team for an unforgettable summer experience! If you enjoy working with children, creating fun and educational activities, and being part of a dynamic team, we would love to have you on board.

Position: Summer Camp Counselor

Employment Type: Seasonal (June – August)

Responsibilities:

Lead and facilitate various engaging activities, including STEM projects, outdoor adventures, arts and crafts, and team-building exercises.
Ensure the safety and well-being of campers at all times, following established protocols and guidelines.
Foster a positive and inclusive camp environment, promoting teamwork, respect, and personal growth.
Assist in planning and organizing camp schedules, events, and field trips.
Provide mentorship and guidance to campers, helping them develop new skills and build self-confidence.
Collaborate with fellow counselors and camp leadership to create a memorable and enjoyable camp experience.

Requirements:

Senior Counselors: Must be 18 years or older with previous experience working with children or in a camp setting.
Junior Counselors: Must be 16 years or older with a strong interest in working with children and willingness to learn.
Enthusiasm, creativity, and a positive attitude to engage and inspire campers.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with campers and build rapport.
Ability to work in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
First Aid and CPR certifications are preferred but not required (training can be provided).
